2016 Subaru WRX

Buckle in because this "Story Behind the Art" is probably the most important one yet. I don't have a big following on Facebook. I stick primarily to TikTok and Instagram. So, when I got a message asking about stickers, I IMMEDIATELY clicked the profile because I had to dive in and see how this person even found my Facebook page. Turns out one of the posts that I had made for Instagram that had done really well, was one of the only posts that I made on Facebook. Just so my page had something on it. Whenever @toxicawrx saw this on her FYP she immediately messaged. She had been looking for someone who did what I did and noticed that in the video the car had Colorado license plates. By the time I clicked her profile and saw that she was located in Colorado Springs and swiped back to the messages, she was sending a message asking if I was located in the Springs. I let her know that I was.

She then told me that she needed these stickers ASAP and I let her know that I typically have them shipped and on their way in 3-5 days. She then asked if she could just come pick them up. I was worried about how long of a drive it would be for her but wanted to offer good customer service so I let her know that would be fine. Later that week I messaged and let her know that she could come pick them up because they were ready. I asked where she would be coming from because I figured it would be a 20+ minute drive. Turns out she is about 3 minutes from where I live. She was there within a few minutes.

When she got here I was so excited to see the car in person and turns out this Miss Independent is rolling with a Show car Subaru WRX and a daily Tahoe which both are red so I find that so satisfying. We ended up chatting from about 8 at night until midnight. That was on a Thursday on August 17th and we have seen each other more days at this point then we haven't. I am so grateful that I met this incredible woman not only because she is an amazing friend, but she has taken me to some car show, meet, or event almost every weekend since. I've been able to meet a lot of incredible people through her and those events, seen some unbelievable rides, and learned about different parts of the car community since then.

My old neon that I showed her because of the matching color scheme.

In the future, I would love for Ride or Die Designs to get big enough to sponsor her and I mean more than just a discount code but doing something big. I would love to have multiple rides to sponser but with my idea of how to sponser a ride, I would need to make sure that I am very exclusionary.
