This is definitely a VERY different ride than what I had imagined for my first Volkswagen. Definitely thought it was going to be a VW bus or maybe a Jetta even. But no it's a truck if you can believe it. I drew my neighbors ride and posted some content about that. You can see more on my instagram here. Afterwards, we chatted about him and his wife and us going on a double date. We got along with them very well and while we are both very busy households, I have high hopes for all of us being friends. After dinner we went back to the houses which was kind of an awkward drive as we live across the street from one another so it's following one another back from the restarant the entire way. They ended up coming over and inviting us over to see what was in the garage. Thats when we see this.
I didn't even know that Volkswagen ever made a truck but apparently they did and they have one. So, of course, I had to turn it into stickers. The holographic look that it has is actually from the previous owner and is a hilarious story. The backend of the trucks "Volkswagen" is painted by my neighbor to look like a Metal Band logo and I love it so much. He mentioned that him and his friend were able to accomplish that look by using QTIPS!
